BUILDING COMMUNITY

A SAFE PLACE FOR ALL

We have lots of community activities and there is something for everyone at The Well. We believe that the church should be at the heart of the community. Our aim is to ensure everyone who connects with us is welcomed and valued.

Whatever your age, we have something available for you!

Christians against

poverty – CAP

Debt counselling and life skills

We run a Debt Centre in partnership with Christians Against Poverty (CAP), an award-winning Charity. Joanne is our CAP Centre Manager and oversees our debt counselling services.  For twenty years we've been helping people out of debt and to find their feet financially!

Want to learn how to live on a budget? We offer CAP Money courses, these train people in how to manage their money to avoid getting into debt. We also offer CAP Life Skills training, which teaches essential life skills on how to survive on a low income.

BABY KINGFISHERS

Tuesday mornings: 9.30 - 12pm in two sessions

9.30-10.30 for 0-11 month olds
11-12.  for 1 and 2 year olds.

Baby Kingfishers is our parent and toddler group. It's a safe space for children along with their Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Carers to connect with other adults. Enjoy a coffee, toast and cake. This is a great space for babies and toddlers to play and discover new things. Children are welcome from birth to aged 3.

Sessions start with free play and end with singing altogether. The cost is £2 for the first child and £1 for each additional child. You can bring your buggy into the room if you need to or you can leave it downstairs, a lift is available for your convenience.

FOODBANK – BASSETLAW

We used to make up and deliver our own food parcels to those in need, so when the opportunity arose to help establish a food bank in the area we were highly involved. Now it's a fully functioning organisation!

We support the work of Bassetlaw Foodbank with volunteers and donations. Find out more on their website.
